Driver

Ajax Spurway Fasteners Pte Ltd is a fast-expanding company in the Hardware & Building Materials sector strategically focused in the Retail, Corporate, Project and Export business network.

We are looking for experienced & result oriented personnel for the role of Driver to be based in Ajax Suva

Location: Suva

Key Responsibilities

Loading & Unloading of Stock

  1. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, containers, or delivery items
  2. Check incoming and stock against delivery notes
  3. Report any damages

Transportation Duties

  1. Safely operate company vehicles to transport people, goods, or documents.
  2. Follow assigned routes and schedules.
  3. Ensure timely pick-up and delivery.

Delivery Support

  1. Assist the Delivery Assistants in loading & unloading items. .
  2. Verify delivery schedules and customer details before departure.

Yard Maintenance

  1. Keep the yard clean and organized
  2. Remove debris, waste, or unused materials

Vehicle & Safety Compliance

  1. Ensure items are secured properly during transit.
  2. Follow safety procedures while handling with stock
  3. Assist in basic vehicle cleanliness and checks.

Documentation & Communication

  1. Maintain records of goods movement if required
  2. Communicate with drivers, supervisors, and warehouse staff
  3. Assist in inventory counts or stock checks

Health & Safety Management

  1. Adhere to OHS Policy
  2. Manage workplace health & Safety of visitors, workers and non-workers.

Requirements

  • Form 6 or Form 7 Pass
  • 2 to 3 Years driving experience
  • Mandatory Group 6 license
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
